Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart
Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress known for her roles across a range of types of film, television and theatre. She was awarded numerous awards including the Daytime Emmy Award. Anne Celeste Heche, born on May 25, 1969, at New York City, passed away on August 11, 2022 in the city of Los Angeles, was an American actor. Her first role was as twins Vicky Hudson & Marley Love in the soap opera Another World from 1987-1991. She won the Daytime Emmy Award & two Soap Opera Digest Awards. The late 1990s saw her gain prominence due to the roles she played in the crime-drama films Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the horror film I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer and the political comedy Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba from her role in the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). She is the daughter of actor June Lockhart. Her grandfather was an actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart started her acting career at an early age. For T is for Tumbleweed, the first role for Lockhart in a film came when she was just four years old. This short film about a subject matter was nominated for an Academy Award. She spent time with her mom on film set, where she learned about the workings of the company. Lockhart is even featured on several Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first feature film. When she was 18, she appeared as her mother Joan Crawford in 1972 television show The Sixth Sense. Joan was the only actor to make an appearance in The Sixth sense. Anne had reportedly turned down Laurie Strode (John Carpenter's 1978 Halloween thriller) and Jaime Lee Curtis took the character. Carpenter tells us that he had her in mind to play the part but she turned it down. it. Anne says she does not recall ever being contacted or given the part from John Carpenter. The possibility is that her agent turned the part away without informing Anne. Glen Larson sent her an initial draft of a script that she was to use as a character in 1978's television program Battlestar Galactica. She initially refused the part because the character was not that strong. Then Glen made a different part just for her with the character that was stronger, Sheba. After reading the initial 25 pages of the script The Living Legend she accepted the part immediately. The show lasted only one season. She co-starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) and also co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
