Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her mother is English while her father is Nigerian. She grew on an estate in South London community estate, and at the age of 14, attended The Brit School. She went to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with an acting BA. While at the academy, she performed in numerous stage productions, including The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her career as an actress through the film Storm Damage. In the years since, she's appeared as a guest on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer was her role in the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the following year, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was a star in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes at The CW, and was later ended. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. Madekwe's exit from the series was announced in May 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she appeared as a guest in the very first episode of season three. Madekwe starred as Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for the Gemini Award, comes from an extensive Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty as well her older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's sports brothers were avid baseball players during the summer months as well as hockey in winter. Ashley didn't walk, instead she would dance. At age two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance immediately after that. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated high school. She won the top soloist awards at all of the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
