Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Along with BJJ as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. At age 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. Then she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's professional career. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via one-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Her final fight with the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-- - beat her to the TKO win in the second round. She repeated her dominance and scored an even stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for the performance of the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks in her debut fight. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters getting the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
